No. The Vaseline Skin Fund is a part of Unilever, the makers of Vaseline branded products and as such, the VSF is a private fund that donates money to help charities achieve their goals.
Most of our funding comes from the Vaseline brand’s global and local budgets. We work with our partner charities to decide what projects to support, based on recommendations by our Advisory Board. We also work locally to help raise the profile of certain skin charities, so the public can donate to them directly.
Unfortunately, no. Although we would like to help everyone, to make a difference, we have to be really focused, which means choosing a handful of very specific causes and keeping our overhead to a minimum. Working with our Advisory Board of skin experts, we’ve chosen the causes we’re working with and aren’t open to new appeals right now.
No. Because we’re not a charity, we can’t accept donations – it’s not what we do. Instead, we use our influence to support charities. If you do wish to make a donation, you can give directly to the organizations we work with.

It depends. Once our local teams choose the partners they’d like to work with, we look at the best ways to support them and decide from there. Ultimately, our goal is to get information to the people who really need it, so money is only part of the picture. Lending time and expertise can be important too – to help design a website for example.
